Q. Because the system uses a laser, is the system legal, will I get into trouble with the police for using one.
A. The LT400 is designed for use only as a garage door or gate opener, it may also be used to activate other electrical devices such as exterior security lights etc. However we are aware that it may interfere with other devices that use the same wavelength of infra red light. For this reason the LT400 will only be activated for 5 seconds at a time. Please be aware that to use it to actively interfere with Police laser guns may be deemed an offence.

Q. Is the system secure, what if somebody else has one on their car, will it open my garage door for them too.
A. The LT400 system has more than 4.5 billion codes so it would be a 1 in 4.5 billion chance that somebody else with an LT400 could operate your garage door.

Q. Do I need to press a button on a remote control to activate the system.
A. The home unit will activate your LT400 as you approach it, it will then send back a corresponding signal which is first identified by the home unit and then activates the garage door.

Q. Are there any other devices that I can use to do the same thing.
A. The LT400 is a world first using laser technology to activate an automated home system in this way without having any user input and has been patented.
